A Poem From Patch Adams

Puisi ini kiriman dari salah satu temanku, dia tahu aku penggemar film "Patch Adams", thanks a lot…=)

I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz


or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.

I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,


in secret, between shadow and the soul.

I love you as the plant that never blooms


but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;


thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance,


risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where,


I love you simply, without problems or pride:


I love you in this way


because I don’t know any other way of loving


but this, in which there is no I nor you,


so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand,


so intimate that when I fall asleep


it is your eyes that close………

    i dont know what to say, this poem full of simplicity but its deep enough to fell…

    There is a such great power in this poem..power of loving, caring and helping together…

    Can u imagine that “red noses”, smiling, or crying for u when you make them eat the “healty” hospital food??

    Can u imagine that “red nose” helping u in a court, when the juror say “your guilty, its malpractice?”

    Can u imagine that “red nose” giving u proud, honour and dignity?..

    That such a beautiful movie….dont sweep your tear, dear..let it flow….

    I don’t know what to say, this poem almost make me crying.
    I din’t know what to say, cause it is writen in English.
    I don’t know what to say, cause there is no its translete.

    assalamualaikum

    salam kenal buat anda,

    ceritanya lagi pengen cari artikel tentang antipretik d google,,terus cari-cari eh masuk k blog anda..

    pas baca-baca ada puisinya patch adam,, makasih yah jadi nya bisa copy paste,,hhe (maap pembajakan dikit ne)
    terus liat-liat yg laen ternyata menarik juga di baca.

    tidak sangka bisa lihat blog salah satu mahasiswi kedokteran fkui, meskipun aku juga sebenarnya pengen banget bisa mencar ilmu di tempat itu,, tapi gak pa2 kita seharusnya bersyukur dengan pa yang kita dapat,,yah kan?(hhe jadi curhat gini),,

    sekali lagi makasih yah..
